CHILD GARDEN MONTESSORI offers unique learning opportunities for children in a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment. Our school is located in the beautiful Loring Park neighborhood of Minneapolis.
Role Description
Prepare the Montessori classroom environment.
Guide children ages 16 months to 3 years.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment to ensure every child’s wellbeing.
Engage with parents to keep them abreast of their child’s progress.
Direct and collaborate with a team of 3 assistants.
This is a full-time position.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or related field. Montessori Toddler training preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Montessori Toddler Teacher.
Thorough understanding of child development principles and a commitment to child-centered approach to teaching.
Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with children, parents and caregivers.
Patience, creativity and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of toddlers.
Experience with child observation and assessment tools to inform and individualize learning experiences for toddlers.
Ability to work Collaboratively as a team.
Familiarity with state licensing requirements for early childhood education.
