Virgin Island Montessori School is seeking a full-time AMI trained Toddler Guide to lead one of two Toddler classrooms on our beautiful campus on St. Thomas. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate Montessorian excited about building relationships with children, parents, and colleagues in a caring community where growth is valued and encouraged. Our School is celebrating its 60th year of offering AMI and IB education to youth on the island of St. Thomas. We are proud of both our history and culture.
We are seeking a candidate who has the ability to teach to a diverse set of learners (i.e. culture, ethnicity, race, neurodiversity). Someone who demonstrates grace, patience and excellent observational and communication skills. Someone who is organized, can multitask, keep calm under pressure, and treat everyone with love and respect.
We are looking for a life long learner who is willing to get to know our beautiful island and serve as an excellent role model for our children.
