Job description: Montessori Casa Teacher
Ancaster Montessori School est. 1984, is seeking a MACTE accredited Montessori Casa teacher to begin in September.
This is a full-time, contract position, renewable year to year. Contracted hours of work: 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday to Friday, September to June as per our school calendar. 2 weeks off in each of December and March.
Attendance also at pre-planned school events/meetings/open houses during the school year on a few weekends/evenings. Summers off (work available upon request). Benefits available.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Montessori Casa Teaching Diploma (MACTE accredited training)
Experience working with children ages 3-5 in a Montessori environment
Reliable attendance
A love of children and Montessori approach to learning
Effective behaviour management
Positive, warm approach
Effective communication skills (oral and written) in English
Current First Aid + CPR training Level C
Criminal reference check
Up to date Immunizations & TB test
Salary range: (approximate, depending on experience) $40, 000 – $45 000 for contracted period September 2024-June 2025
