Lee Montessori Public Schools was founded in 2014 to challenge inequity and close the opportunity gap in Washington, DC. Today, we run two high-performing public charter schools that both represent racially and socioeconomically diverse communities.
Lee Montessori is seeking a full-time Primary Coach for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. The Coach is part of a team responsible for creating a community of reflective practitioners and ensuring fidelity of implementation of Montessori Primary for both children and adults. The Primary Coach will utilize the coaching method developed by National Center for Montessori in the Public Sector (NCMPS) and the American Montessori Institute (AMI) and will participate in ongoing professional development and collaboration activities annually. The Primary Montessori Coach will report to the Managing Director of Academics, coordinating on a day-to-day basis with Assistant Head of Schools (AHOS) supporting both our Brookland and East End campuses.
