Cedars Montessori School is seeking a certified Primary Montessori Guide who can focus on implementing the Montessori approach in the classroom by creating a warm, nurturing, safe environment for children, in which individuality is respected and independence is encouraged.
Founded in 1974, Cedars Montessori School is a private, independent Montessori school dedicated to AMI/AMS standards and academic rigor. Our school is southwest of Austin in the beautiful Hill County. We serve 180 children, 3 through 12 years of age, on 17 acres with outstanding classroom environments, well equipped and maintained unparalleled outdoor environments that we equip our children to fully experience.
The successful applicant will possess initiative, management, leadership and organizational skills. In addition, the ability to problem solve and communicate effectively with staff, parents and children is imperative. We value transparency, and self-reflection, as we support each other in providing the very best environment for staff, children and families to thrive. The successful applicant will be eager to participate in a community of educators who share and learn from one another.
