Housed in a beautiful 1750s Dutch barn on a budding permaculture farm, CMS opened fall 2020.
We are a private, non-profit school inspired by permaculture ethics: people care, earth care, and fair share. We opened with one 3-6 class and one 6-9 class. Due to the level of interest, we are adding a new toddler community, another 3-6 class, and expanding our elementary program to include 6-12 in fall 2021.
With our expansion, we are seeking an experienced toddler lead teacher, toddler assistant, early childhood lead teacher, early childhood assistant, and elementary 6-12 co-teacher. Ideal candidates for lead positions need to be MACTE-accredited. Farming, permaculture, or similar experience or interest is a big plus!

Catskill is equidistant from Boston and New York City (about two hours), with easy access to both. With many quaint towns nearby, including Hudson, with Amtrak service to NYC, Catskill offers the charm, culture, and environment of the farm and forest.
