The Montessori School of Maui (MOMI) is accepting applications for an Adolescent Teacher/Guide with experience in Mathematics and Sciences instruction. This is for a potentially immediate hire. Looking to enhance our program currently in its 19th year, the ideal applicant will have worked with adolescents, hold a Bachelor’s degree at minimum, and will partner with the existing Guide to support growth of additional program elements that allow for greater diversity in choice and experience by the students. Montessori training in the Adolescent program and pedagogy is preferred. If not yet completed, the pursuit of Montessori training will be necessary. Increasing in size annually, the Middle School anticipates a student population of 20 – 22 students, ranging in age from 12 – 14 years, for the next academic year.
