The Montessori Middle School Guide / Teacher will cultivate in his/her students the quantitative thinking, problem solving, and critical thinking skills that prepare them to successfully undertake their choice of high school level mathematics and science. The teacher will foster an integrated and practical appreciation of mathematics, science, and/or Humanities in students. Facilitate related aspects of the middle school curriculum including micro-economy, student electives and field trips. Work closely with a co-teacher to divide and share all instruction to a small middle school environment of less than 20 students in a combined 7th and 8th grade.
