Islamic culture childcare center looking to make the transition to Montessori structure.
We are looking to begin with one preschool (3-5 year old) classroom this summer (2023). We are looking for an experienced lead teacher to bring the Montessori way of teaching and life to our school.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising and guiding 3 – 5 year old students with developmentally appropriate Montessori curriculum to meet their individual needs
Maintaining respectful Islamic cultural environment in our classrooms
Using effective, clear and respectful communication with children, parents, other faculty members, and administration
Sharing ideas, modeling, and training assistant teachers and colleagues.
Creating a safe environment for this age group with appropriate boundaries and expectations (related to both academics and behavior)
Education/Qualifications:
3-6 year old Credential (or currently in the process of obtaining one) from a MACTE accredited program
Bachelor’s Degree
minimum 2 years working as a lead in 3- 6 classroom
