By way of background, my wife and I are based in Long Island, NY and our children – ages 4 and 7 – have been enrolled in a Montessori School for a number of years. Due to Covid-19 and the health risks associated with the current plan to have in person school this Fall, we have decided not to enroll in school for the ’20-21 school year. Unfortunately, the school will not be offering distance learning as an option, thus we are currently planning to homeschool our children with the help of a Montessori teacher. We are looking for a teacher who can create a 2nd grade and age 4 Montessori curriculum and guide the children through the school year.
