Childpeace Montessori seeks an Adolescent Guide to join our established Metro Montessori Middle School (MMM) team beginning August 2020.
The ideal candidate is an educator with at least two years of classroom experience
at the middle school or high school level, strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, and experience serving diverse learning needs. Candidates should hold a minimum of a B.A. and should have completed the AMI Montessori Orientation to Adolescence (school sponsored, takes place summer 2019) prior to beginning of the school year. Valid Oregon teaching credentials are a plus, as are AMI Elementary Training and/or Spanish language proficiency. Candidates will be considered based on specialization area, skill set and curriculum experience. A passion for working with the adolescent age group is a must.
This is a salaried, exempt teaching position with full-time hours throughout the school year. The wage range begins at $50,000 on a gross annual basis, depending on experience.
