Small Savers is a year-round AMS Montessori school serving children ages 12 weeks through 5 years old. Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in education

• A Montessori certification (strong preference)

• Commensurate experience working in a child development center (Montessori preferred)

• First aid and CPR certification

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Provides safe, nurturing, and stimulating Montessori environment for children in the class with developmentally appropriate materials and curriculum.

Ensures the safety of the children, including responsibility for completing any incident reports and notifying parents and/or authorities.

Meets the physical requirement of the teaching position.

Compensation:

Paid bi-monthly (26 pay periods per year) on an hourly basis.

Lead Teachers are classified as non-exempt are paid overtime for all hours worked over 40 hours in a given week.

Lead Teachers are eligible for all benefits offered to full-time Small Savers employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Base salary $24.59-$27.99 with a subsidy from the Pay Equity Fund (PEF) for a total of $36.11 *dependent on the continuation of the PEF
