Position Overview:

The Primary ASC Specialist leads our additional school care program, applying Montessori principles to foster independence, collaboration, and environmental care. They create a home-like setting with seasonal activities, ensuring a cohesive mixed-age community. Responsibilities include supervision, program planning, and attendance tracking (Ravenna & Transparent Classroom). Additional duties include morning playground checks, afternoon support during lunch and nap time, and coordinating four weeks of Summer Camp.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 6 ECE units; commitment to completing 12

Collaborative, flexible, and detail-oriented

Positive attitude with a deep respect for young children

Eagerness to learn and grow in a Montessori setting

Preferred Qualifications:

AMI-trained

12+ ECE units or a Bachelor’s degree +

Montessori experience or background in early childhood education

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 40 lbs

Sit, stand, and move easily at a child’s level

Salary: This is a non-exempt, full-time position. Start date is August 6, 2025. Hours are M – F, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. The salary and benefits package is commensurate with qualifications and experience and salaray range is $25 – $30/hr.
