The Miami Montessori School is searching for credentialed Montessori lead teachers for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond. Our school, which includes two Early Childhood classes, a Lower Elementary class, and an Upper Elementary class, is furnished with a comprehensive array of Montessori materials. The rich environment is inviting and sparks the interst of children. Established in 1979, our current building was specifically built to be a Montessori school.
We are looking for individuals who
*encourage independence and curiosity in children,
*have strong observation skills to guide students to activities that meet their interests, needs, and developmental level,
*have an approach to classroom management that is strong but also reflects his/her love of, and respect for, the students,
*are committed to critical thinking and life-long learning with a willingness to think outside the box,
*create an environment that engages all types of learners and helps students meet their full potential,
*demonstrate and model kindness and respect for others,
*communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues,
*are energetic, creative, and flexible,
*are passionate about the Montessori method and philosophy.
