Wā Ora Montessori School caters for approximately 300 children from 18 months to 18 years in Lower Hutt, Wellington.
We require an AMI trained 6-12 teacher with experience teaching at the 6-9 level (Cycle 2 class) to join our staff in February 2023. You will be enthusiastic, motivated, committed to the highest quality of Montessori education and love sparking the imagination and excitement of this age group.
Lower Hutt is just 30 minutes away from the capital city of New Zealand. Wellington was voted the “Coolest Little Capital in the World” and is close to bush walks, lovely beaches, beautiful scenery, a great cultural scene and some of the world’s best coffee.
Experience, willingness and ability to take part in instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment. The ability to obtain New Zealand teacher registration and a valid work visa would be advantageous, however the school will be able to support you in this process if necessary.
