Lincoln Elementary is one of five Montessori schools in Denver Public Schools located in the beautiful Washington Park neighborhood. Established in 2003, the school serves a diverse population of students and families.
We are seeking dedicated AMI or AMS Lower Elementary guides for the 2022-23 school year to deliver authentic Montessori practices and pedagogy. We value inclusive and trauma-informed practices to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. Ideal candidates are collaborators, out of the box thinkers, lifelong learners, people who exude love for elementary aged children, good communicators and looking to plant their roots at Lincoln. We have three Lower Elementary classrooms, ages 6- 9 (1st- 3rd grade) that serve 25 children in each class.
Requirements:
Current or (willingness to obtain) Colorado teacher certification from the Colorado Department of Education.
Bachelor’s degree
AMI/ AMS diploma
A minimum of 3 years of successful classroom experience.
Willingness to collaborate.
Strong communication with parents, students and staff.
