Villa Montessori Polaris (VMP) is currently accepting applications for a full-time certified Lead Montessori Teacher for our Primary room (ages 3-6)

Educating children ages 6 weeks through 6 years, VMP offers an authentic Montessori Curriculum with a Reggio Inspired Art & Science experience designed to inspire a child’s creativity. We are seeking qualified, enthusiastic and nurturing individuals that will be responsible for presenting lessons, teaching reading, math, geography, science and writing using an authentic Montessori method of instruction. You will be responsible to supervise the classroom by helping the children to think creatively, to solve problems independently and respect themselves and others.
Required Skills/Experience
– Montessori Teacher Certification (AMS, AMI, NAMC, etc) required
– A four-year degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field
– At least one year full-time teaching experience with a group of children
– Must have a warm, supportive, and patient attitude and disposition toward working with children and their families
– Kind, thoughtful, and strong at guiding children in self-motivated learning and helping stimulate their natural desire to learn
– Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive
– Completion of a background check required
