Arbor Montessori School is accepting applications from experienced candidates interested in serving as our Toddler & Primary Coordinator starting in August 2022.
The School, located just outside of Atlanta, is celebrating its 52nd year. Arbor serves nearly 250 students through its two toddler classes, four primary classes, two lower elementary classes, two upper elementary classes, and an adolescent program.
The Toddler & Primary Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the toddler and primary programs are running smoothly. Specifically, the Toddler & Primary Coordinator works closely with – and provides support to – the teachers, assistants, and families to ensure Arbor provides the best Montessori education possible to the children in these programs. The Coordinator also works collaboratively with the Head of School, the Elementary and Adolescent Program Level Coordinators, and other members of Arbor’s administrative team. The individual in this role also has the opportunity to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Ideal candidates hold a BA or BS degree, have an AMI Primary Diploma and have at least 5 years of experience serving as a lead guide in an AMI Primary classroom. Experience working in an AMI Toddler community is preferred. Three years of administrative experience, including time working with parents and the admissions office, is required.
