Adolescent Science Guide

Butler Montessori is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Adolescent Guide to join our dynamic team for the 2022-23 school year, beginning in June 2022. The ideal candidate will have a background in science, be interested in teaching adolescent science classes, and in supporting the student-run farm and microeconomy program.

Applicants should enjoy working with young adolescents (aged 12-15) in a Montessori setting and bring creativity, patience, flexibility, collaboration, a sense of humor, and a love of all things science, to the job. This position is an integral part of the Adolescent Teaching Team, and requires daily collaboration with other team members, strong communication skills, and a shared sense of community values. An ideal candidate will also have a commitment to environmental stewardship, education for peace, and ABAR (anti-bias, anti-racist) principles.
