Frequently Asked Questions about NAMTA Services

Membership

Q. How can I find out if I am a current member or not?

A. The membership year runs September 1-August 31. If you receive renewal notices throughout the fall of any given year, then your membership has lapsed. If you are not sure whether or not you have renewed, call the NAMTA office at (440) 834-4011 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Eastern time, Monday through Friday, or e-mail us at staff@montessori-namta.org.

Q. Can my school join NAMTA?

A. NAMTA memberships are for individuals only, not schools. Some schools choose to purchase memberships for all their teachers as part of their professional development program. In addition, schools can be listed in The NAMTA Directory. You can list your school using our online school listing form.
